We’ve the taken the classic recipe and turned it upside down to bring you garlic shrimps that are smoky, salty, nutty and with just enough heat to make you reach for a spoonful of rice. It’s insanely delicious! Chili crisp is so good that Ben and I managed to go through an entire jar in less than a week. GARLIC CHICKEN, BACON, AND RANCH PASTA

Image
GARLIC CHICKEN, BACON, AND RANCH PASTA Garlic Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch Pasta – easy, comfort food dinner recipe. Chicken cooked in olive oil, with garlic, paprika, chili powder, and Italian seasoning, then combined with bacon, Ranch dressing and pasta makes a winning combination! I added about 1 cup of Ranch dressing, just because I like my pasta very creamy, but 1/2 cup of dressing could be enough, too, if you don’t like overly creamy dishes. Ingredients 8 oz penne pasta (use gluten free pasta for gf version) 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 lb chicken breasts or chicken tenders, chopped into smaller pieces 1/2 teaspoon Paprika 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning 4 cloves minced garlic 6 strips of bacon, cooked, chopped 1 cup or 1/2 cup Ranch dressing (gluten free) 1/3 cup fresh parsley, chopped, to taste Instructions Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water according to the package instructions, drain. {caramel & chocolate} Turtle Dump Cake

Image
{caramel & chocolate} Turtle Dump Cake Turtle dump cake is an easy, decadent dessert that is for the serious chocolate caramel lover. Only a few easy ingredients combine in one bowl and then pour into a baking dish. So simple to prepare! Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for one of the best desserts ever.  The best part of this turtle dump cake dessert is that you only need 6 ingredients! A boxed cake mix, instant pudding, dark chocolate chips, caramel sauce (like the stuff you put on ice cream), pecans, and some milk. Super simple and you can have this in the oven in just about 10 minutes. Maybe 5 if you’re super fast 🙂  If you’re not familiar with turtle desserts (think those Turtle candies) they are just a combination of chocolate & caramel and usually with something salty. Like pretzels or in this recipe today, there are chopped pecans. It’s basically sweet & salty perfection! Ingredients 1 small box (3.4 oz) Jell-O Chocolate Instant Pudding Mix 1 1/...

THE BEST COOKIE DOUGH FROSTING

Image
THE BEST COOKIE DOUGH FROSTING We have perfected this The Best Cookie Dough Frosting recipe and think we have come up with the best version that we have ever tasted. My daughter loves cookie dough anything. Cookie dough ice cream, cookie dough frozen yogurt, and if I would let her … real raw cookie dough. She went to a birthday party where the cupcakes had cookie dough frosting on them and now that’s all she talks about. While I love real cookie dough (don’t judge Laurie and I were raised in an era where raw eggs were okay to eat), the idea of cookie dough frosting does not appeal to me. Because Allison was so insistent on having cookie dough frosting, I scoured Pinterest for a good recipe. The first was WAY too sweet, the second recipe we tired had cream cheese in it so the taste was off putting to us, the third one was basically cookie dough without eggs. (I know…we sound like Goldilocks,) Laurie and I put our heads together and came up with this recipe. It’s a hybrid of the differen...

Healthy Blueberry Banana Muffins

Image
Healthy Blueberry Banana Muffins This is a simple, but delicious recipe for healthy blueberry banana muffins, made with whole wheat flour, cinnamon, and fresh blueberries. They are moist, healthy, fluffy and so easy to make! Every time I think about blueberry muffins, I think about my grandma and how she used to send my dad home from when he would go visit with these MASSIVE, homemade blueberry muffins. He would then bring them back to my mom, brother, and I and we would savor each and every single one. Each muffin was loaded with fresh blueberries, and they were often topped with a sugar crystal crunch, making the ‘muffin top’ the best part. She stopped making them about ten years ago (she was baking way into her early 90s), so by the time I entered college, I was no longer getting to enjoy those muffins I had grown up with and honestly, just never found another blueberry muffin recipe that could compare to hers. So while this muffin recipe won’t ever touch my beloved grandma’s recipe...
